The Muskegon Museum of Art is renowned for its fine permanent collection of American and European paintings, sculpture, prints and drawings. A changing array of works by artists such as John Steuart Curry, Edward Hopper, Winslow Homer, William Merritt Chase, J.A.M. Whistler, Lucas Cranach, Camille Pissarro, August Rodin, Alfred Sisley, and Pierre Bonnard is regularly on view in the permanent collection galleries. The MMA studio glass collection is among the finest in the Midwest, featuring leaders in contemporary fine art glass.
