The 10th annual Hot Glass + Cold Beer Event will take place at Dearborn’s Glass Academy on August 1, 2019 from 7pm – 10pm.
This year’s themed event is ~ Day of Thrones!!! A fun play on the series Game of Thrones. We’ll be making all ONE of a KIND chalices, dragon tail mugs, and tasting cups with this theme in mind.
Each glass is handmade in the Dearborn studio and with each ticket purchased, the buyer gets to KEEP THE GLASS!!!
Upon arrival at the Glass Academy, customers will be able to pick their own hand crafted glass from a table of various selections and use that same glass all evening for the beer tastings.
The different prices are for different levels of glasses; a simple, yet stylish tasting cup with logo, a chalice, and a dragon tailed mug.
Continual entertainment all night long of LIVE GLASSBLOWING is the best part of the evening. You’ll actually be able to watch how we make the glasses that you are drinking out of that evening!! How cool is that?!

This event gives back to the community thru a partnership with Michigan Glass, a state wide web based organization that promotes the glass arts in Michigan. A portion of the proceeds from this event will provide student memberships to Michigan Glass allowing students to get a jump start on their career with web exposure and coaching from the volunteer team.
