Come view the latest work from artists and students at Baron Glassworks on Sat. May 2nd and Sun. May 3rd, 12-5pm. Watch demonstrations in furnace glassblowing and enjoy light refreshments or blow glass with an instructor-call to schedule as space is limited (an addt’l fee). The door prize is a 3 hour private lesson in furnace glassblowing. More information is available on the website. Seventh-Inning Stretch comprises seven years of Nancy Callan’s explorations of the fine art glass. Rich in craft and technique, these works build upon the past to create forms and patterns that are both modern and playful. Callan represents a generation of glass artists that has come from the hot shops and classrooms of the pioneers to the studio glass movement.

“2nd ANNUAL STAINED GLASS GIVEAWAY”
In an effort to help churches in these difficult economic times, we will be donating time and glass to churches in need of new stained glass and/ or restored stained glass windows. Information will be available on our website. In 2008, 50 square feet of restored glass was given to Sacred Heart Church in Hudson. Interested churches and/or volunteers should contact the studio.
