Days of Glass: Join Us in June!
Toledo and its neighbors are celebrating glass, and you’re invited!
There will be two community Days of Glass in conjunction with the Glass Art Society (GAS) conference this year. The first is Wednesday, June 13, in Toledo, OH. The second is Sunday, June 17 in and around Detroit. Many of the glass-centric events are free and open to the public.

Everyday is a “Day of Glass” at the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion. Enjoy their world-famous glass collection in between glassblowing demonstrations in the hotshop, all while taking in the stunning architecture of the transparent Glass Pavilion. On Thursday, the exhibition Color Ignited: Glass 1962–2012 opens to the public in the new Wolfe Gallery.
Tom McGlauchlin Memorial Golf Outing: A Fundraiser
Shotgun start at 8 am
$90/$100, includes golf, cart, range balls, and lunch (no rental clubs).

To all those “duffers” who cannot resist a chance to play 18 at the Stone Oak Country Club: Come, join Henry Halem and friends for a scramble at this championship course. Unique trophies, and a luncheon with Halem as MC. The honors go to Tom McGlauchlin; the proceeds go to an emerging-artist travel grant for the 2013 GAS conference. Minimum: 20 people; maximum: 44.
